A DSGA GOLFER IS A HAPPY GOLFER: (HELP ELIMINATE SLOW PLAY)
Your DSGA Directors work hard to see that our tournaments are played on good golf courses and run in an organized and orderly fashion. HELP! ------ Only you...our DSGA membership (Individuals along with their foursome, working together, collectively, with the other foursomes) playing in our DSGA tournaments, can ensure that your fellow DSGA members enjoy their round of golf without undue delay.
Our "DSGA rules of play" speak to the SLOW PLAY issue and are clear. Please "pick up" if you cannot score, **** Keep the foursome ahead of you, in sight ****
In the case of an unexpected bad golf shot, worry not, the ball that you have just lost will eventually be found and make some other golfer very happy. Drop another ball (in accordance with our DSGA rules) and continue play without delay to your foursome and all the foursomes behind you.

SIGN-UP FOR MONTHLY TOURNAMENTS - THINGS TO REMEMBER:
Please review the DSGA website for utilizing the TeamReach cell phone application to register for tournaments and communicate among the members.
Be sure to make your $35 check payable to DSGA for the tournament in which you wish to play and bring it to the golf course on tournament play day.
If you are signed up to play in a tournament and need to cancel, you must notify your Tournament Director prior to 5 p.m. two days before the tournament in order to receive a refund of your entry fee.
When at a tournament, DO NO CHANGE from your TEE-SHEET ASSIGNMENT without first discussing your contemplated change with the Tournament Director.
Our DSGA Board of Directors has the long standing policy of notifying our membership of the passing of both past and current members. Should you learn of such, please quickly let one of our Board Members know so that a "Special Notice" memo can be sent to all of our members in a timely manner.

HOW TO USE YOUR EARNED CREDITS: When writing your check and request to play in a tournament, please be sure to subtract the $ amount of “credits” you have to be applied to your entry fee.
